Abstract

Highly efficient, diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers with TEM00 output and up to several watts of output power have been demonstrated.1 By frequency-doubling the output of these lasers with a suitable nonlinear crystal, e.g., MgO:LiNbO32 or KTP,3 532-nm radiation can be generated efficiently.
