Abstract

The Aurora large aperture module (LAM) uses a 1.12 × 1.12 × 0.13 m Cervit mirror weighing >500 Kg. This mirror is supported in a cross-flexure mount attached to the rear of the LAM laser chamber. The LAM is double-passed by 96 (5-ns long) temporally multiplexed beamlets in order to extract energy for 480 ns of the 600- ns e-beam pumping duration. Pointing accuracy of this mirror is critical to successful target experiments.
