Abstract
Everyone would like a faster charge transport rate in photorefractive BaTiO3. The mobility of charge carriers parallel to the crystal's c axis increases with temperature.1,2 This suggests that the carrier mobility in BaTiO3 is limited by multiple trapping into shallow traps followed by thermal excitation of the charge into the nearest band.3
