Abstract

Over the past Several years, a number of different techniques involving second- order mixing have been used to provide subpicosecond UV seed pulses suitable for amplification in XeCl (308 mn), KrF (248.5 nm), and (in one instance1) ArF (193 nm) excimcr gain modules.
