Nonlinear optics in crystalline organic MQWs

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We explore the nonlinear optical effects that might be present in recently grown materials, consisting of crystalline organic molecules in a quantum well environment The discussion focuses on applications to photonic devices such as light controlled modulators and switches and on implications of these theoretical studies as applied in recent experiments.
