Abstract
Intense photoinduced scattering of coherent light beams is inherent in the majority of photorefractive materials. Frequently, the scattering gives bright rings or unclosed lines on a screen behind the crystal.1-6 It is clear now that the known rings are a result of four-wave mixing processes with the following phase-matching condition:
