Charge and energy transfer in mesostructures

Abstract

Rare gas duster (RGC) ionization or excitation is followed by charge or energy extension. Propagation of ionic state in a long atomic chain determines the current flowing in such submoleeular conductors, the resonance nature of tire exchange interaction providing the possibility of some superconductive effects (e.g., C60). Ionic or excited-state spread in crystals governs the lasting efficiency in solid rare gases. Crystal conductivity properties play a key role in the interpretation of tunneling microscopy data on mesostructures.
