Abstract

Single pass SHG produced 45 mW of 429 light with an overall conversion efficiency of 9.3% in a 7 mm KNbOs crystal. High SHG efficiency results from high peak powers generated by novel compound cavity laser based on a tapered stripe GaAlAs amplifier.
