Abstract

There is a significant need for 1-D and 2-D position sensitive detectors which operate in the near infrared wavelength band (1-2.5 μm). Applications fall into two major categories: the detection of phenomena which occur at those wavelengths and detectors for eye-safe laser based measurements.
