Abstract

To gain understanding and predictability of mesoscale dynamics and extreme events, an accurate, remote measurement technique that can provide continuous characterization of aerosol, wind, and temperature, and their variability is essential. We propose the development of a narrowband lidar system for the measurement of these parameters from the ground to the tropopause.
