Abstract
We demonstrate an optical accelerometer using a micromachined tunable interferometer. The device is optically powered and can be distributed with optical fibers for remote sensing. Above all, because of the characteristics of tunable interferometer, the device can operate at different wavelength and create spectrally resolved signals which contain richer information and better sensitivity than just the intensity.
