Abstract
Wavelength-division multiplexed (WDM) devices are becoming increasingly important for fiber-optics communication and sensing systems. Large-channel fanout, low loss, and compatibility with fiber connection, laser sources and detectors are desired. In this work we report theoretical analysis and experimental demonstration of a new type of WDM device—Supergrating WDM on planar waveguide.
