Abstract

An application of hard electron beams for laser pumping have made it possible to Increase easily the number of working media, and have led to the rise of laser efficiency and power. But this well known, pumping method has serious defects connected with the necessity of electron beam injection from vacuum accelerating gap (through a foil as rule) into a high-pressure working gas.
