Abstract

The archetypal fullerene C60 exhibits a very strong reverse saturable absorption (RSA) as demonstrated by its effective optical-limiting performance at the wavelength 532 nm.1,2 Previously, we have examined the wavelength dependence of optical limiting in C60 and found a dramatic increase in this behavior at wavelengths longer than the standardly measured 532 nm.3
