Abstract
The stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) with a slight frequency shift ΔvR (see Table 1) was observed in freons C2CI3F3, C8F18 and tetrachlorides SiCl4, GeCl4, SnCl4. The conditions of an efficient conversion and compression of laser pulses in these liquids were found. It was shown that high purified tetrachlorides are transparent in a wide wavelength range of 0.5-8 μm.
