Abstract

Neodymium-doped potassium gadolinium tungstate [KGd(WO4)2:Nd3+ or Nd:KGW] is known as a new laser medium with a broad and strong absorption band at λ = 810 nm and therefore efficient for laser diode (I.D) pumping.
