Abstract

Resonators with self-pumped phase-conjugate mirrors (SPPCM), based on a four-wave mixing (FWM) interaction in the loop geometry described in Ref. 1, have received considerable attention for the past few years because of their ability to correct phase distorsions within the loop itself and because of their greater-than- unity reflectivities.
