Abstract

Recently, there has been a considerable interest in single-frequency tunable all-solid-state sources. A novel scheme for a simple and compact design by coupling the pump radiation through a fiber grating (FG) into a Cr3+: LiSrAlF6 (Cr3+ :LiSAF) laser is developed similar to Nd:YVO4 microchip lasers.1
