Abstract

Selectively oxidised Al(Ga)As/GaAs multilayers are now becoming widely used to form high reflectivity and wide-bandgap distributed Bragg reflectors in vertical cavity optoelectronics devices, such as lasers, LEDs, modulators and detectors.
