Abstract

Low-temperature-grown GaAs (LT-GaAs) is the most widely used photoconductive (PC) material in the PC emitter or detector for THz radiation because of its unique properties, such as ultrashort carrier lifetime, large resistivity, and relatively good carrier mobility.
