Abstract

With the rapid development of wavelength-division-multiplexed systems in optical communication, multiwavelength laser source has attracted considerable interest. Several types of multiwavelength rare-earth-doped fiber lasers have been demonstrated, which differ in the wavelength-selection methods used.
