Abstract

Recently, anti-resonant reflecting optical waveguides (ARROW)1,2 have received a great deal of attention due to their attractive features such as low optical losses, high polarization sensitivity and ease of fabrication. In this letter, a novel ARROW fabricated using the polyim-ide/Ta2O5/polyimide material system is presented for the first time.
