Abstract
High-repetition-rate Cr4+:YAG femtosecond lasers are interesting for possible applications in optical communication systems. Using of a three-element cavity consisting of a gain medium, a concave mirror (lens), and a prism1 resulted in 1.2-GHz repetition rate operation2.
