Abstract

Among the numerous prospects opened by the development of hollow-core photonic crystal fiber (hc-pcf)1 is laser guidance of atoms and particles. Although the latter has already been demonstrated in conventional hollow capillaries by M.J. Renn and colleagues,2,3 we report the first observation of particle guidance in hollow-core photonic crystal fiber (hc-pcf).
