Frequency-Domain Phase-Conjugate Femtosecond Pulse Generation Using Frequency Resolved Cross-Phase Modulation

Abstract

In the resent several years, the traditional technique of ultrashort pulse generation based on phase reconstruction with dispersive elements has been improved. The difficulties in the correction of the phase are, however, that measurement of unknown phase distortion in a dispersive system and lack of easy-to-handle dispersive elements for accurately controlling phases of ultrabroad band radiation.
