Demonstration of a super-parallel holographic correlator for ultrfast database search

Abstract

Using a holographic multiplexer that splits a query image into many copies, we have demonstrated spatial and angular multiplexing simultaneously to search through images in a hologram, realizing a super-parallel optical correlator for ultra-fast database search.
