Correlation-based Brillouin optical sensor for dynamic strain monitoring

Abstract

Using the correlation-based Brillouin optical sensor, we achieved a strain sampling rate of 31Hz for an arbitrary location. Random access to strain from 3 distinct locations is also reported without significant loss in total sampling rate.
