Relaxation Oscillation Suppression In Nd:YAG Lasers Using Intra Resonator Harmonic Generation

Abstract

Relaxation oscillations can be suppressed through proper resonator design and second harmonic generation internal to the resonator. Experimental results are in substantial agreement with a rate equation model.
