Characterization of high power laser systems Bragg grating stretchers

Abstract

Chirped Bragg gratings, working as short pulse stretcher, are characterized with a cross correlation scheme. The defects presence in the grating is evidenced. Numerical simulations indicate that their effects on the recompression appear quite negligible.
