Frequency converters in the mid-infrared spectral region with periodically poled RbTiOPO4

Abstract

OPO’s employing PPRTP operating in the spectral region of 1.55µm-3.4µm are demonstrated. Signal energies of 0.96mJ are generated with a total OPO efficiency reaching 40% in a 11mm-long crystal. Effective nonlinearity in PPRTP is 9pm/V.
