Thermal characteristics of GaAs-based quantum cascade lasers

Abstract

We have investigated the thermal dynamics in GaAs-based quantum cascade lasers during pulsed operation with an interferometric thermal mapping technique. The method enables us to determine thermal properties of these multilayered structures.
