Abstract
A compact, stable, low cost, prismless Ti:sapphire laser with 154nm bandwidth and 20mW output power is used for in vivo ophthalmic ultrahigh resolution OCT in patients with ~3µm axial resolution, demonstrating the clinical viability of this light source.
