Abstract

We report a three-element Kerr-lens modelocked femtosecond Cr4+:YAG laser which uses a fused-silica Littrow prism for intracavity dispersion compensation. This generated transform-limited 145-fs pulses at 1522 nm and a repetition rate of up to 3.68GHz.
