Pump-enhanced optical parametric oscillator based on periodically-poled RbTiOAsO4

Operation of a continuous-wave periodically-poled RbTiOAsO4 pump-enhanced optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a single-mode Nd:YVO4 laser is reported. Tuning ranges were 1.525-1.583µm (signal) and 3.245-3.520µm (idler). External threshold was 270mW and up to 87mW of idler output was obtained.
