Characterization of high-repetition rate telecommunications pulse trains by dual-quadrature spectral interferometry

Abstract

We have characterized 10-GHz fiber-optical pulse trains with low average power (−40 dBm) by combining dual-quadrature spectral interferometry with frequency-resolved optical gating. We compare this technique with single-channel Fourier transform spectral interferometry.
