Phase-locked two-dimensional solid-state laser array in a self-imaging cavity

Abstract

We report phase locking of a four-element Nd:YVO4 laser array using a self-imaging confocal cavity in conjunction with a spatial filter. Highly efficient and stable operation in the in-phase mode is achieved at all pump power.
