Abstract

Diode pumped continuous wave all solid state UV-lasers operating at 266nm offer an interesting alternative to frequency doubled Argon ion lasers. We compare photosensitivity, UV-writing of Bragg gratings and thermal decay at 244, 257 and 266nm.
