Programmable multi-wavelength polarization corrector

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel method for parallel, multi-wavelength state of polarization (SOP) correction. A Liquid-Crystal Modulator array is used to rotate the distorted input SOP spectrum to a fixed linear state on a wavelength-by-wavelength basis.
