A new polymer based nonlinear absorption material

Abstract

A new naphthalocyanine was synthesized and incorporated into polycarbonate at high concentration. The thin film exhibits reverse saturable absorption from 520 nm to 725 nm and has an excited state lifetime greater than 5 ns.
