Abstract

Recent technical progress of fiber-optics and nonlinear wavelength conversion improves the performance of 1.5µm coherent Doppler LIDAR (CDL) dramatically. Our new development of the 1.5µm CDL with all-fiber type transmitter/receiver circuit and optical parametric amplifier is briefly described.
