Abstract

We report on spectral-hole-burning-based instantaneous spectral analysis of optically carried broadband radio frequency signals. We have demonstrated 100-channel operation over 3.3 GHz bandwidth. We discuss future steps towards 10GHz bandwidth and 1000-channel operation.
