Design, Fabrication, and Characterization of THz Bragg Reflectors

Abstract

We have designed, fabricated and measured the first THz Bragg reflectors based on periodic air slots formed on Si wafers. For three air slots, we have achieved a peak reflectivity as high as 91%.
