Abstract

Efficient broad-band SHG was demonstrated by simultaneous matching of group-velocity and phase-velocity in a 10.5 mm long periodically-poled potassium niobate. The QPM bandwidth was 38 nm, which is broad enough for 100 fs pulse doubling.
