Re-circulating loop for programmable true-time delay in an optical beamformer

Abstract

A cost effective, high speed and programmable true-time-delay optical beamformer based on recirculating loop with few nanoseconds beamsteering speed is proposed. This technique can drastically reduce number of components. Experimental results for proof-of-concept are presented.
