Abstract

We describe a 100 mJ/µs Nd:YAG master oscillator power amplifier system pumping optical parametric amplifiers in PPLN. These waveguide and bulk amplifiers yield 2-mJ, 1.55 µm, single frequency, µs-pulse radiation for remote wind sensing.
