External Injection of a Gain Switched Integrated Dual Laser Source for the Generation of Widely Tunable Picosecond Pulses with Large SMSR

Abstract

By using external injection into a gain-switched source containing two FP lasers we have developed a pulse source that is wavelength tunable over 65 nm, with SMSR > 60 dB across the tuning range.
