Three Dimensional Optical Profilometry using Multicore Optical Fiber

Abstract

The multicore optical fiber was used for the measurement of three-dimensional object shapes by two-dimensional Fourier transform profilometry for the first time. The fiber alignment requirement for polarization control was solved by using multicore fiber.
