Highly efficient cw Yb-doped ceramic lasers

Abstract

We have been developing highly transparent ceramics for solid-state lasers. The LD-pumped cw Yb-doped ceramic lasers were demonstrated with highly efficient. The low-temperature absorption spectra of the ceramic materials were measured.
