Abstract

A new scheme for a polarization - and wavelength-transparent optical demultiplexer, based on double -pumped Four-Wave-Mixing in a Semiconductor Optical Amplifier, is presented. Effective 10 Gbit/s channel extraction from an Optical -Time-Domain-Multiplexed 40 Gbit/s aggregate frame is demonstrated.
