Fiber-based, high-power 1-micron source for optical coherence tomography

Abstract

We report supercontinuum generation at 1 micron from a practical, fiber-based source for optical coherence tomography. The portable fiber device provides compact, high-power (~80 mW) broadband spectrum with 6.5-micron longitudinal resolution.
